Home Sweet Home

We're back, we made it! Thanks for the prayers and the safe travel wishes, they were definitely a blessing to us, and we are all back in one piece safe and sound.

The drive took about 15 1/2 hours, it should have only taken 14 1/2 and we were making great timing, but we got into some traffic about 70 miles outside of Chicago and we were stuck in it for an hour! We had all had it by the time we had gotten home, but our sweetie pie did amazingly well. We just keep saying that God gave her the sweetest temperament. We all crashed hard last night and even this morning the 3 of us are all still pretty tired and not quite feeling all together, but the unpacking is almost finished, the many loads of laundry have been started, the grocery list is being made, and Georgia is down for her morning nap snoozing away and loving it in her own crib! We are thankful we have the weekend to get things back in order here and relax, and we are so grateful for the precious memories we created on our family vacation!
